Always use a new MLS gasket et torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts
Clean all oil & coolant passages thoroughly
Vérifier camshaft timing et tensioner preload
For TSI engines, inspect turbocharger oil line connections
DO NOT reuse valve cover gasket on newer integrated rocker designs
Bleed air from cooling system carefully to avoid air lock
