6. Installation Tips
- Always use a new MLS gasket and torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts
- Clean all oil & coolant passages thoroughly
- Verify camshaft timing and tensioner preload
- For TSI engines, inspect turbocharger oil line connections
- DO NOT reuse valve cover gasket on newer integrated rocker designs
- Bleed air from cooling system carefully to avoid air lock
